Wooops.

What I learned this week is brought to you by JoLynn at Musings of a Housewife.

Properly Titled WOOOPS -
1. This Gingerbread House - though it came with a promise of being easy - no fumbling - no fuss...but nothing but...

2. Just because you successfully move the Eifel tower from the table to the counter for Thanksgiving Dinner - DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN MOVE IT BACK!...

(yes it broke, yes she cried, yes it sucked
but yes she fixed it and it all together again)
SO...IF YOU BUY BIG LEGO SETS...BUY A WOODEN BASE TO BUILD THEM ON!

Oh poor Eifel tower. So glad she was able to fix it though. Bravo for attempting the gingerbread house. I let my dad do that with Hudson :)

Oh no! We did our gingerbread house last night, and it did not go together too well. We almost lost it, but I think it's finally set. I think in years past I've used a hot glue gun to hold it together, lol. Wish I'd done that this year!

That's too bad but she gets big credit for putting it back together.

Have not tried constructing either a gingerbread house OR the Eiffel Tower - both look very impressive!

That's why, my friend, I buy the ready made gingerbread kits in the store. I'm glad she was able to rebuild her masterpiece. Does she leave them up for ever? Where do you store the Eiffel Tower?

I'm so glad you got through it and were able to fix it!

Are you going to put the santa hats on the owls this year?
