There seems to a fair amount of ick going around this year...some of it of the health version, some of it of the home version and some of it of the just plain ick version. So in consideration of others today's post is for everyone with a bit of ick in their life...
If you are over 50 and you find yourself driving the wrong way down the grocery parking lot you do NOT deserve to be yelled at by a 30 something bitter hag and when that bitter hag wants to yell at me for consoling you that is ok because her life is clearly worse than ours - and when you thanked me for my kind words and fell to tears I felt you in my heart for the rest of the week and to you, and your ICK...I am sorry.
If you find yourself with a loved one in the hospital or facing surgery or with uncertain medical issues - I am thinking about you, even at times when I probably shouldn't be, I am thinking about you and wishing you and yours all the best.
If your life at home is not so pleasant because of a child, a partner or financial concerns, know that you are not alone and that you deserve to be happy. We hear it every day that life is short and by golly it is short...do what you need to take of you and work on letting other things fall into place as they may...as hard as it may be - they will fall into place (eventually)
And finally, in consideration of others (and ourselves) tis the season to be jolly, so be jolly, darn it - be jolly!
