Now it is Lauren's turn to take a walk down memory lane. Since I can't possibly highlight every big memory from the year it was fun to pick a few good ones. If you want to see all the posts about Lauren click here....
Lauren started her year off building some great lego things, of course she moved on to some even greater ones later in the year too!
She painted an awesome picture for her Art Fair at school!
She looked amazing in her Easter dress
This year we got to see more of Lauren just being a kid. That was a joy for everyone to watch - she was able to set aside her serious side and join in the fun a lot more this year!
and just like on Hailey's post - the wishing flowers were a thrill this year!
Lauren's birthday was a great one! She got all kinds of things she never thought she would get!
The day I let her start reading Harry Potter it opened up whole new worlds for Lauren - she is currently half way through book 5 and loving each and every one of them!
A visit to Lego Land was a highlight of the year for Lauren!
She also enjoyed blasting off bottle rockets in the park with our neighbors!
She had a blast at Disney Land and even road all the roller coasters -
something I never thought she would do
At the beach she took the body board (or whatever they are called) for a swim and couldn't get enough of it!
Of course we all know she built the Eiffel Tower and is antsy to get to work on her new Robot and Carousel!
She was even willing to show off her rum in this cute pair of pants for me!
and of course the year was full of smiles. Lauren is a very special little girl, growing up everyday, finding her way in this world and building great memories! I take delight in seeing all the changes she makes and the strides she takes! 2010 brings big changes so watch out Middle School here comes Lauren...

What a fun year! Lauren had grown so much this year! I can't wait to watch another year :-)
She did have a big year! I hope that she has as much fun in 2010. I can't wait to see the robot and carousel all finished!
That was great. Lauren has really grown up in the past year. Thank goodness for the blog and documenting all the things our kids do.
Aw! I love it! What a apecial look back at a special girl. She reminds me of both of my boys - definitely the love for learning/lego building like G but also my N has the serious side to him. Hope her 2010 is also great!
What a full year for Lauren! I'm so impressed she's reading Harry Potter!
