In every corner, on every shelf....

In every corner, on every shelf you can find something someone has made or is making... I don't love the clutter, sometimes it drives me nuts, but ultimately they love making things and I love watching them do it...

In this bag are the valentines projects I posted yesterday...
Here sit the lanterns made a couple weeks ago...

In this corner you can find some clay projects in process

The kids can't drink the wine (nor do they want to) but it makes another place to tuck stuff...

Occasionally Lauren's desk looks like a tornado hit it....

Some projects are hung by my computer....

Others hang proudly on Lauren's closet door (this is Hogwarts)

Needs no explanation....

this is a "junk corner" in Lauren's room

and there is stuff on Hailey's nightstand too...

The paperonis are under the easel

The Tinker Toys and Connectagons are EVERYWHERE...

and I do mean EVERYWHERE!!!

a handmade pillow from Lauren sits upon my Kindle...

and even in the bathroom you can find mixing cups and sticks...

Do I keep it all forever?

NO

and I mean NO, and I get in trouble sometimes for it too...but hey - I'm a mom and I can only handle the crafty clutter for so long...

Pick your favorite pieces and move the rest on. Don't feel guilty about it. Your kids don't want you to end up the crazy clutter lady with ninety cats.

(Totally kidding about the ninety cats part! :)

It also just means your house is a sign of your girls creativity!

Amen! It looks like my house! I have secret room (I call it the pit) and it is horrible. I am ashamed to walk by it so I have chosen to shut the door until I am ready to face it...one day!

Looks like my house too. I hang stuff up in our basement - adds color to the boring walls. I have to be sneaky/careful about stuff that gets thrown out b/c my daughter is very sentimental about her masterpieces.

I hear you! Whenever I throw something away/recycle it, I immediately cover it up with something else because otherwise I get all kinds of feedback!

Clutter drives me NUTS - yet I have it everywhere too. I think kids and clutter are a package deal.
