Friends

Michael W. Smith sings one of my favorite songs about friends...

'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong
And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends
And with the faith and love God's given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy you live in
Is the strength that now you show
I just want to say that I am blessed with many wonderful friends both here at home, from a distance and some just from the internet - but no matter how I know you I am glad to have you in my life.
And I have to give a special shout out to a wonderful friend who left this on my front porch on Wednesday - you know who are and you know how much this meant to me but what you don't know is that it is now hanging up on the Basement door!

I'm concerned that something sad is going on in your life that I don't know about...or missed.
I "hope" you are filled with much "hope."
And, I count myself lucky to be one of your Internet friends.

Hey girl, what a sweet friend that was. I know I feel blessed to have a friend like you. Sometimes it just takes a little perspective, time to regroup, take a breath and start life over again. Words of a famous person we know, I pray these things for you, and I know with Hope and prayer and a few friends, you can get there.

I'm concerned too, but glad that you've got such great friends IRL to give show you love and give you hope. :)

Terra, I am thankful you have such a wonderful & thoughtful friend that lives so close by. I am concerned about you also and I hope you hang in there and keep your head up. Rely on your friends, faith & hope to pull you through. Thinking about you!

I love the sign. I'm glad you have it hanging up as a constant reminder. I love what Anita said about "taking a breath and starting life over again". You have a lot to look forward to! Just hang in there a little while longer!
